BL Companies recently partnered with Equus Capital Partners to provide Due Diligence and Land Development services for a new 378,000-square-foot distribution facility in Punta Gorda, Charlotte County, FL. The project site, a 25-acre agricultural parcel, is located in a designated development zone near Punta Gorda Airport, making it a prime location for logistics and distribution.
Site development required coordination with multiple permitting agencies, including Charlotte County, the Florida Department of Transportation, and the Southwest Florida Water Management District. A key component of the process involved addressing off-site stormwater flows from neighboring developed areas, which naturally drained onto the project site.
