In the spirit of giving thanks, BL’s Giving Back Committee is proud to partner with Soldiers’ Angels for their Holiday Stockings for Heroes program, an initiative that delivers holiday cheer to active duty service members and veterans in VA hospitals. This year, we once again rallied our employee owners to fill stockings with essentials and treats to be sent to those serving far from home.
BL Companies has supported Holiday Stockings for Heroes for several years, and the impact of our involvement has grown each season. In past years, our team has packed and sent over 300 stockings filled with items like toiletries, snacks, socks, and handwritten notes to show our appreciation and gratitude. These small but meaningful gestures let our troops and veterans know that they’re remembered and supported, especially during the holiday season, which can be a challenging time to be away from loved ones.
With each stocking, we aim to provide comfort and a piece of home to those who sacrifice for our freedom. Our team is thrilled to contribute to the spirit of the holidays, and we’re honored to support Soldiers’ Angels in this mission. Together, we’re making a difference—one stocking at a time.
