With extensive experience in natural gas, as well as all the necessary support disciplines available in-house to support the needs of the main replacement programs, BL Companies has become a trusted partner of major natural gas local distribution companies (LDCs) in the Northeast. Since 2018, BL Companies has been partnering with LDCs to support their gas distribution main replacement initiatives in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

As part of our relationship with LDCs, we go beyond the minimum of ensuring our designs meet federal and state regulatory requirements and have created customized design processes to meet our clients’ specific needs, objectives, and goals. With these processes in place, BL Companies has successfully completed the design and PE certification of 2,150 distribution main replacement projects for our clients, which has amounted to 500 miles of gas distribution main replacement.
