Thanks in no small part to BL’s Civil Engineering and Land Surveying teams, the Orthopedic Associates of Hartford boasts one of Connecticut’s most state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facilities. With a focus on enhancing the patient experience, the surgical center was crafted to showcase the innate beauty of its surroundings, including enveloping beautiful natural stone walls into the design, and incorporating a soothing palette of colors and custom artwork aimed at instilling a profound sense of calm and serenity. Sustainability was also a key priority, including design details that were environmentally responsible and resource efficient. The result? Seven meticulously designed operating rooms, a well-appointed procedure room, 25 patient visiting rooms, and a comprehensive physical therapy center, all shaped by invaluable input from doctors, nursing staff and administrators.
